Probation officers are the backbone of a reformed justice system, yet they face a relentless tide of administrative burdens. Overloaded caseloads, time-consuming data entry, and fragmented systems leave them struggling to do what matters most: supporting offenders in their rehabilitation.

The Solution

Developed in collaboration with the London Probation Service (2018-2020), our Probation Management Solution is designed to significantly reduce recidivism rates.

Through a user-friendly platform and native mobile app, Make Time Count streamlines management, fosters engagement, and delivers valuable data insights. Our user-friendly interface empowers probation officers with efficient workflows and simplifies communication with probationers. Probationers benefit from a mobile app for easy access to their schedule, progress tracking, and communication with their officer.

The platform is made up of four main modules:

  1. User Management – automate scheduling, communication, and referrals, while tracking progress and gaining valuable insights.
  2. Unpaid Work Coordination – supervisor management, attendance tracking, risk assessment, issue resolution, PPE inventory, and feedback tools.
  3. eAcademy – over 600 courses that can help individuals on Probation with skills based training to support employment.
  4. Rehabilitation Support – connect probationers with essential services like housing, jobs, and mental health support through an easy-to-use portal, streamlining referrals and communication between all parties.

Engagement and Reduced Reoffending

Experience streamlined communication with probationers through auto-notifications, in-app chat, and easy check-ins, resulting in greater engagement. This, along with improved case management and 360-degree feedback, fosters positive behaviour change, leading to better compliance and lower reoffending rates.

Data-Driven Decisions and Family Support

Real-time data tracking and 360-degree feedback provide insights into probationer behaviour, allowing for evidence-based decision-making and targeted interventions. Additionally, the ability to involve family members in the process strengthens support networks and contributes to improved outcomes.

Enhanced Efficiency

Based on workshading with London Probation, our technology reduced staff admin tasks like scheduling, notifications, and referrals by 40%, freeing up valuable time for more impactful work, reducing the need for additional personnel and lowering overall probation department costs.
